Top Fuel Tsukuba Terror S2000
Tokyo Auto Salon 2016 was one of the biggest it's been in recent memory, and tucked away in one of its halls were a few of Japan's tuning elite, one of which included the infamous Honda builders at Top Fuel. Known in years past for building some of the quickest dragsters, they've since switched a big portion of their focus to time attack racing, and at TAS they proudly displayed their S2K racecar, driven by one of Japan's most cherished drivers/drifters, Nobuteru "NOB" Taniguchi.
This fully-prepped, turbocharged racecar is a beast, and yesterday, NOB took it out for a few sessions at Tsukuba Circuit, clocking in a best lap time of the day with a 51.762. Watch below to hear this S2K scream harmoniously around the track, and its master at work.
