To Britain! Forza Horizon 4 Announced for October
This week the 2018 E3 video game show is going down in Los Angeles, and with it comes the typical avalanche of news and announcements from across the industry.
Naturally we've been keeping a close eye for news on the racing game front, and Microsoft not so surprisingly unveiled the latest entry in the Forza Horizon series during its annual E3 exhibition.
After traveling to Colorado, France/Italy and Australia, the destination for Forza Horizon 4 is Britain, and as with past games in the franchise, it will feature an open world setting full of scenic roads and exotic locales.
Along with a new location to explore and over 450 cars to collect, Forza Horizon 4 will also include new features that should deepen the experience. One of those features is dynamic seasons that transform the game world and open up new event opportunities along the way.
For the first time, players will also be able to spend their in-game cash on property to store and display their vehicles, and doing so will also open up new items for your car and driver, along with extra gameplay benefits.
Along with exotics like the McLaren Senna cover car, Forza Horizon 4 will feature a robust selection of modern and vintage vehicles, including lots of off-road machines that have become a big part of the franchise in recent years. You can see the game in action in the announcement trailer below.
Forza Horizon 4 will be available for Xbox One and Windows PC, and based on the fun we've had with past entries in the series, we'll be counting the days until the game goes on sale on October 2.
