Spy Photos: New Ford Ranger Raptor Photographed On-Road Testing with New Bronco Raptor
While we haven't had any official word yet, Ford appears to be making it obvious what the next big exciting news they have in store for us. We just captured some photographs of the next-gen Ford Ranger Raptor undergoing testing (alongside the Bronco Raptor) barely disguised, revealing a few new elements about the off-road focused, mid-size truck.
This is our best look yet at the front end of the Ranger Raptor. We can see the lines of the unique grille (that probably conceals the FORD lettering), a revised front fascia, fog lights and a very noticeable front skid plate under the front bumper.
At the side, there's a set of high-clearance running boards in-line with the lowest point of the skid plate, along with darker wheels and all-terrain tires riding under noticeable fender flares.
The rear end features a raised rear bumper for a better departure angle, and a dual exhaust system with a black finish tucked up into the corners of the bumper located just in front of a pair of mud flaps.
Ford has already debuted the international Ford Ranger out of the way, the next reveal of the Ranger will be for the U.S. market, followed by the debut of the Ranger Raptor for global markets.
