SEMA 2015 Day 2: JDMWong's Highlights
SEMA 2015 Day 2: Highlights
Being my 17th year at SEMA, I thought I’d seen it all, that is, until rain fell. Cold and damp, it made for a slightly unpleasant morning, more so for our booth but it dried out for a few hours before it started to pour and even hail towards the end of the day, causing us to close up shop early. No matter, we got tons of magazines, posters and t-shirts out while the sun was out, and made the best of the day by going deeper into the show halls to find more cool cars and products.
BMW came back for a second year in a row, showcasing various M-Performance accessories for the M-series lineup.
Five Nine Design Porsche with Liberty Walk aero.
Now here’s a RWB Porsche that isn’t like the others—this one’s more for the old school without an over the top bolted fender look.
Engraved metal painted KUHL Racing Nissan GT-R from Japan.
Rocket Bunny S13 Nissan 240SX at Enkei.
SSR Professor CV04 is almost a new school interpretation of the classic Super Fin.
Weighted shift knobs from DC Sports.
Slaaaaamed Boden R8 on bags.
Now here's a classic that you probably wouldn’t have expected me to be a fan of, but I totes am. Love the styling mixed with new school technology for high performance.
Caught up with my old Super Street friends, Bernice Guevarra and Sam Du.
GReddy still develops plenty of performance bolt-ons but recently dropped the Boost Brigade clothing line. Plenty of hats, tees, jackets and hoodies for the first season.
I stopped and had to do a double take because I didn’t think someone would think to bag a BMW i8…but someone has, on gigantic Rotiforms. Too good.
Mazda MX-5 Speedster Concept
Brembo’s latest caliper offering, the B-M8, sports an updated company logo, comes in a few color variants and will fit different types of applications, including the light truck market.
So much awesomeness at the Driving Line booth, but what else would you have expected? Show attendees were able to try different VR experiences, from a headset to full CXC 360-degree off-road ride-along with Shannon Campbell.
