Results at the Ultra4 2014 National Championship
It all comes down to this, the 4400 class main event at the last race of the Ultra4 season. It was an action-packed two days of racing at Wild West Motorsports Park for the Ultra4 2014 National Championships. The crowd was on their feet cheering during the seven-lap final, where Loren Healy and Shannon Campbell were in a chase to the finish. Healy leading with Campbell nipping at his heals until Campbell rolled up in the upper rock area. Tom Wayes was giving a good go at second after that until Erik Miller overtook him, gaining significant ground during the last couple of laps. It would be Loren Healy who came across the finish line first however, securing him both the 1st place for this last and final race as well as 1st place Champion for the 2014 Ultra4 season! Erik Miller was close behind in second, and Levi Shirley made a huge leap from beginning back of the pack to finishing third. Congratulations to all the racers - and of course to Loren Healy, Erik Miller, and Levi Shirley who topped off this final race!
