Nitto's New All-Terrain Tires Help You Get the Job Done

Tires are a lot like tools. Tools must be dependable when working in a trade because if your tools don't work, the job doesn't get done, and you don't get paid. While not kept in a tool chest, tires are one of the "tools" that are required to start and finish a job. From gathering materials at the local lumberyard or transporting a cement mixer to the next jobsite, a truck used in the trades needs a dependable and versatile set of tires that can get you to the site in a variety of weather conditions both on- and off-road.

The owner of this truck, Dustin Bianchi, has worked in construction for over 20 years and through his experience has learned what tires work best for his 2016 Chevy Silverado. His go-to tires are all-terrains, and when it was time for a new set he decided to try Nitto's new Terra Grappler G3 tires. "When I first saw the tires, I was surprised they were all-terrains, because normally such a good looking tire is a mud terrain. Then I saw the super high treadwear warranty and 3PMS rating and I was sold on them," he said.

The best tools come with a warranty, which means the manufacturer believes in their product, and that means those tools are reliable. The same is true of tires. Nitto's latest all-terrain tire comes with a 55,000 mile warranty for LT metric sizes and an astounding 70,000 mile tread wear rating for hard metric sizes. That's a lot of miles, which means it will be awhile before you have to visit the tire store again.

Top rated tools are also versatile, just like an all-terrain tire. Nitto's Terra Grappler G3 is now 3 Mountain peak snow (3PMS) rated adds a bonus layer of versatility that not every all-terrain tire has. But what does 3PMS mean to Dustin and his work? It means that he doesn't have to worry about light snow or rain on the road affecting his ability to get to nearly any jobsite regardless of how remote the location might be.

"I need my truck everyday, and it's important that it looks good, too, especially when I'm meeting with potential clients. I love how well the tires do in all the different weather conditions I've faced, and the tires make my truck look better, too," Dustin said. All of Nitto's Grappler line of tires come with two different sidewall designs, including the Terra Grappler G3, so there's sure to be a design that matches the look of any work truck or business aesthetic.

"So far I've only got about 5,000 miles on these tires, but I've already seen two seasons on them and they've been a huge improvement over the previous tires I had. And, this is the first time I've ever had people tell my they liked my truck's tires."
