SEMA offerings to the hotrod world may seem a bit thin this year, but some of the things that came out have been highly anticipated. I know most of the die-hard hotrodders don't plan on using too many aftermarket parts on their traditional builds ,but there's a few items that have crossed over for everyone to enjoy! I like things that work and are built for performance behind the firewall.
A couple of them are the new fluid driven power brake unit from our good friends at CPP. Fluid power brakes just plain work and get rid of the bulky sight of traditional power brakes.
Other items such as MSD for Y-blocks and inline 6 Fords have been seriously looked for from people like me.
The biggest, raddest thing I found for hotrodders is the new '36 Ford rear fenders from Bob Drake. The price is a bit staggering at $1500 dollars a set, but at least the metal is all good and a pretty decent stamping. Normally a wedded set is in the 2k range, so this is a great breakthrough.
Rolling down the line we find some new wheels that caught my eye - full steel smoothies with nipple caps are right up my alley for someone who wants chrome reverse but doesn't wanna look like everyone else.
In the mag wheel department I was stoked to see nostalgic styling coming back in the sea of 22 inch rims.
Here's some more stuff I liked:
Cheers y'all, more to come!
