March Meet: The Woodstock of Drag Racing [VIDEO]
If you've never experienced the excitement of nostalgic top fuel dragsters, March Meet is the place to see it. Started in 1959 by a local race club, it was an opportunity for East Coast racers to come West as well as as a place where nitro was allowed during a time when NHRA had outlawed it for being too dangerous. A wild success, March Meet was one of the main events through the heyday of drag racing in the 60s and now continues to be the top nostalgia event on the calendar each year.
