Low is a lifestyle and for the last few years, StanceWorks has made a name for themselves in the BMW community for tastefully slamming everything in their path. Treating each build as a blank canvas, Mike Burroughs, Andrew Ritter and company have pushed boundaries, constantly innovating and bringing their signature touch to just about everything.
Bimmers, V8 powered Ford Model Ts, classic Toyota Land Cruisers - nothing is outside of their reach and the proof is with everything that was on display at the StanceWorks Open House.
With a name like “Rusty Slammington” you can't help but tip your hat to this fly gentleman. Mike’s e28 BMW started off with basic mods, later getting its roof chopped a few inches and the full rusted look.
Recently “Rusty” has risen from the ashes (literally…the car was burned in a garage fire) and debuted at SEMA as a shortened and widened, tube frame race car with the engine bay pushed back and rear cantilever suspension.
Slamming in progress - this is where the magic happens.
Their work in progress projects are just as cool as the finished builds.
The current StanceWorks stable of projects includes a roster of new and old BMW’s, a frame-off Mini restoration and a few classic Japanese 4x4s.
Step outside the shop and you can see the eclectic community that StanceWorks brings out.
If StanceWorks ever took to the seas, it would probably resemble this slammed Euro "land yacht".
