La Jolla's Own Cars & Coffee: Hosted by Symbolic Motors

With the Santana Row event handling the Northern California Cars & Coffee and the world renowned Irvine Cars & Coffee holding down Southern California, about an hour and a half further South, Symbolic Motors of La Jolla is hosting a fast growing Cars & Coffee of their own. Symbolic Motors is a the premier luxury reseller in the San Diego area, as an official dealer for Bentley San Diego, Bugatti San Diego, Rolls-Royce Motorcars San Diego and Lamborghini of San Diego.  Hosting the event for the third time from their parts and restoration facility, there was no shortage of variety from hypercars, vintage classics and tuned performance vehicles. Symbolic also provides donuts and refreshments for breakfast for all attendees. The event started at 9AM and as expected, there was no shortage of amazing vehicles on hand. Two armed guards holding down the front entrance: Original Hummer H1's...aka "Real" Hummers. IMG_9007_rev A few Audi R8's from ProjectR8 also were up front IMG_8970_rev A very exclusive Mercedes Benz C63 Black Series with Track Package - fewer than 100 of these arrived in the US when it debuted. IMG_9218_rev Evil looking Ferrari Scuderia with 16M stripe. IMG_9021_rev Clever personalized plate on this Porsche 996 GT2 which is ironically coined a "widow maker". A happy wife is a happy life! IMG_9026_rev Still sexy after all these years, a 2002+ NSX (note the facelifted headlights) - sandwiched between the aforementioned Porsche 996 GT2 and a track beast Ariel Atom. IMG_9034_rev Speaking of Ferrari 16m's - yep, here's one in Rosso Scuderia. IMG_8980_rev A track prepped Aston Martin DB9 - strikingly odd with the race seats and giant wing, but definitely purpose built. IMG_9036_rev For sale and on display, asking for higher prices as of late: perhaps due to the Paul Walker accident - the Porsche Carrera GT. IMG_8993_rev Also on display, the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse - the worlds fastest convertible. IMG_8998_rev A grill only an enthusiast (or owner) would love... IMG_9045_rev Impeccable leather craftsmanship - like a fine european purse (for the ladies out there) IMG_9057_rev You can hit 254MPH in this cockpit - hold on tight to that suede steering wheel. IMG_9059_rev Heart of the beast - open to the elements. IMG_9079_ The view most would see...and most wouldn't mind. IMG_9069_rev Right next to the Vitesse, an amazing Lamborghini Aventador. IMG_9094_rev Not one, but two Veyron's were on hand...this one known as the Pur Blanc. IMG_9157_rev Other more "basic" supercars were on hand as well, a Ferrari 458 Spyder, F355 Spyder, 360 Modena CS look-alike and Maserati Gran Turismo down this aisle... IMG_9146_rev Mercedes SLS in matte black with track inspired white logo'd tires. IMG_9152_rev Symbolics event definitely brings out some of the craziest cars, if you have an opportunity it's definitely worth the short drive on an early Saturday AM.
