It's All Here at Mitsufest

Mitsufest pulled in one of the last car show ventures for 2014 with Extreme Speed Track Events. Still in its infancy of its second year, the event brought in 1,300 spectators with more than 60 show cars in eight categories, 50 track cars and 25 AutoX participants at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. One of the things that make Mitusfest unique when compared to the other Mitsubishi events, like Mitsubishi Owner’s Day (MOD) hosted by Mitsubishi Motors and the local Southern California car meets, is the ability for Mitsubishi owners to attend an event that has a car show, track day on the world class Auto Club Speedway Roval course, and an AutoX event within its inner lots. You could say the only thing missing is a drag strip competition! Some of the Mitsubishi groups that were represented at the car show were World Wide Lancer Club (WWLC), SoCal TeamRuckus Uxb, SoCalEvo.net, Team DDR, Touge Agents, LA Diamond Star Motors, San Gabriel Valley Diamond Star Motors, Inland Empire Diamond Star Motors and Westside Diamond Star Motors. The car show included a raffle and contests backed by the various vendors. A crowd favorite for the car show was the exhaust sound off competition hosted by Awdsome Lifestyles where multiple cars sounded off and the audience chose the winner with the best sounding exhaust.
