So I set out to find the 5 best hotrods of SEMA. How arrogant of me, how can I say what's best or worst? We all have an opinion and a love. It's all personal opinion about what's good, bad, and ugly, right? What's good for the goose isn't necessarily good for the gander - so I set out to gander upon what Vegas offered the hotrod and custom car gods this year. I found that theres a great diversity and its all good. Whether you're a hardcore traditionalist or you like to drive your car in comfort, there's definitely something for you.
I came to this idea of not picking out cars after me and a friend got into an argument on this Model A coupe. As far as I see it, it's a gasser, not cookie cutter but just plain badass-looks-fast-just-standing-still. Super non-conforming to the traditional types - it just screamed "Get in, shut up, and sit down." But, needless to say, my friend didn't agree with me. It occurred to me then and there, who am I to say what's awesome and what's not?! So below you'll find, not my top 5, but a gathering of hotrods at SEMA that I found interesting. You be the decider - which one is best ,worst, or just plain badass? I wanna hear it from you! Ya'll are the ones that shape this world we live in, not some goober at a keyboard listening to the Girl From Impanema. Right?
Browse down, leave a comment about what you like, and tell me whatcha wanna see more of! How's that light your candle? I hold a little flame for the model A gasser seen above, the Foxley roadster V8 flyer (#20), and the wicked blue 59 El Camino (#16)…. just a couple cents for y'all enjoy!!!
