Garage Built: Evasive Motorsports
Sometimes you don’t need stricly horsepower (though it always helps) to build a fast and functional track car—just ask Evasive Motorsports. Since 2002, this SoCal-based tuning shop has been turning out some of the fastest Japanese imports and Euros, focusing on overall balance of the vehicle they’re building, no matter if it’s a customer or staff vehicle. They’ve worked alongside some of Japan’s aero masters to develop key components to help them achieve some of their quickest times on various tracks around the world.
You no doubt recognize this Nissan GT-R from our last issue but we thought we’d give some big props to Evasive for curating the build, which has since had more HKS parts added to the engine bay for some serious power. And take a good look at the shop scenery: not only can they race prep your car, but they can do expert wheel alignment, corner balancing, parts installation/tuning and general maintenance.
