At some point in our lives, most of us probably played with or collected Hot Wheels, the miniature die-cast version of cars and trucks that you could only dream of one day owning, let alone seeing them up close in person. While there are numerous automotive shows and weekend car gatherings throughout the country, you’re always left wanting more. Thanks to Hot August Nights, we now have what is perhaps the greatest gathering of classic cars in the world.
Held in Reno, Nevada, the ‘biggest little city in the world’ is overcome with thousands of classic cars and trucks for a week-long festivity that brings out tens of thousands of spectators and admirers from all of the world. It doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you prefer, because there is something for everyone here in this retro Vegas-style city. Red or blue, big block or small block, Chevrolet or Ford, you will find your fix in the streets of Downtown Reno.
