Gallery: Formula Drift Rd 4 New Jersey

Formula-Drift-NJ-2014-FD-61 Some drivers say that Wall Speedway in New Jersey is the most feared race track in Formula Drift. The track doesn't leave room for error - especially when you are drifting towards a guardrail that has its own gravitational pull. If you make it through that, you're met with a hard transition from the steep bank to the flat track infield, known to stop drivers in their tracks.  They don't call Round 4, "The Gauntlet" for no reason. Formula-Drift-NJ-2014-FD-50 The track claimed its share of cars this past weekend, such as Jhonnattan Castro and Chelsea DeNofa both hitting the guard rail. Others conquered it - Nitto Racing's Odi Bachkis earned his first ever podium finish with 3rd place and Fredric Aasbo his first ever hard-fought podium 1st. 2nd was filled by Chris Forsberg who continues to be in the lead for Championship points.
