Formula Drift Partners with BlackVue
As we inch closer to the 2016 season opener at Long Beach, Formula Drift has recently announced a new three-year partnership with dashboard cam brand, BlackVue, part of South Korean-based tech company Pittasoft, Co. LTD. BlackVue will not only be the presenting sponsor of the series but will also serve as the official dashcam, as it's expanding its marketing efforts in North America to help educate consumers about progressing dashcam technology. Already popular in many countries around the world, the U.S. is prime to catch on next, since dashcams can give drivers in any situation the ability to record anytime the system's in operation. In FD, for example, judges could settle challenging calls during competition by reviewing footage recorded to a driver's Over The Cloud system. BlackVue is excited to debut its dashcams to drifting fans this April and you can bet we'll be getting our hands on one to try it out ourselves.
