'90s JDM Club at Tuner Evolution

To say Southern Californians love car shows isn’t only stating the obvious; it’s an understatement of colossal proportions. Typically, you’ll find car shows occurring in the heart of summer, but in a place as warm as Los Angeles or Orange County, CA, as the Tuner Evolution show demonstrates, anytime of the year is a good time to display a slice of California car culture. Originating in the east coast, Tuner Evolution has been hosting its popular car show for many years, but only now have they made their way to the Golden State. Judging by the queue to get into the Anaheim Convention Center, it’s safe to say that California has welcomed Tuner Evolution with open arms.

With over 400 cars registered for the first ever Tuner Evolution California, it might be a little overwhelming at first, but if you know what you’re looking for you can easily filter through. The '90s is easily one of the greatest decades for Japanese cars; it includes the Acura NSX, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra and even the Nissan 300ZX. These chassis are loved for their timeless bodylines and powertrains. As you can imagine, it’s what the crowd gravitated towards. If you missed Tuner Evolution, here’s a gallery highlighting the best '90s cars of the show.
