7 Mad Mike Conquering Moments

"Average" Mike might eat cereal for breakfast, brush his teeth with toothpaste and drive to work in a Prius... but "Mad" Mike eats up tires at every turn, brushes guardrails so hard they need to call for protection and tears up the streets in one of the many rotary machines from his BULpen.

They don't call him Mad Mike for nothing. Red Bull x Nitto Tire drift athlete Mike Whiddett has never met a stunt he didn't like. Whether he's thrashing around in his hometown, putting on a show in the US or just plain having fun on another continent, Mike is always ready to go on the drive of a lifetime.

Let's count down the seven best moments from Conquer the Crown and Conquer the Cape:

7. Up Close and Personal

Mad Mike - BADBUL - Conquer the Cape

That moment when you see BADBUL charging right for you! This must be what being a matador feels like.

6. It's Lit

Mad Mike - MADBUL - Conquer the Crown

It doesn't take MADBUL long to heat up in one of the first turns of Conquer the Crown.

5. What Took You So Long?

Mad Mike - BADBUL - Conquer the Cape

All that drifting through the Franschhoek Pass, and the old man still got the better of Mad Mike.

4. Dragon Breath

By the end of the video, you might start to mistake MADBUL for a dragon with all that fire.

3. Don't Feed the Baboons

Mad Mike - BADBUL - Conquer the Cape

Just like the old man warns in the beginning of Conquer the Cape, "Don't feed the baboons! Those are nasty bastards!"

2. Chopper Chase

Mad Mike - MADBUL - Conquer the Crown

Rotary engine roaring, drift smoke spewing, a helicopter giving chase... all in slow motion. More please!

1. You Shall Pass

Mad Mike - BADBUL - Conquer the Cape

Mad Mike making the most epic turn on the Franschhoek Pass, going over 100 mph. We might have to refer to this as "power-sliding" instead of just plain drifting.

Mad Mike - Old Man - Conquer the Cape

These were our favorites from both Conquer the Crown and Conquer the Cape. What were yours?
