MOMO Magnus Walker Signature Series Hits the Rennsport Reunion

You know the man, and you definitely know the brand. Together, Magnus Walker, the dreadlocked Brit who's made air-cooled Porsches uber cool and hip the past few years, and world renowned, Italian racing parts producer, MOMO have joined forces to bring you a very special line of steering wheels to help celebrate the company's 50 year anniversary, and you'll see it officially for the first time at this weekend's Rennsport Reunion event up at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. DL-MOMO_MW-EDIT-01 Released as part of MOMO's Signature Series, where other collaborations have been made throughout the years with legendary motorsports icons, such as Jackie Stewart, Nikki Lauda and Mario Andretti (to name a small few), Walker joins this esteemed group of peers with his own Signature Series steering wheel, which is an updated version of a retro 350mm Prototipo, sporting distresed black leather on your choice of black or silver metal tri-spoke design. MOMO also took Walker's suggestion of making the grip thicker, much like the Jackie Stewart Signature Series wheel and so they took the proper measurements and replicated exactly to his specification. DL-MOMO_MW-EDIT-04 DL-MOMO_MW-EDIT-03 MOMO debuted the Magnus Walker Signature Series steering wheel earlier this week in Los Angeles with the help of iD Agency at a private event held at Walker's garage, and also hosted a caravan of Porsches to drive up together to the Rennsport Reunion (happening now). I gotta say, the wheel looks great, although I don't have a Porsche to bolt it onto. Fret not, if you're like me this won't be an issue because you can add this piece to any car equipped with a MOMO steering hub. But don't sleep; both versions (black and silver) are limited to 200 pieces worldwide, so get on it for only $329.99.
