Formula Drift Long Beach Qualifying Results

51 drivers came to the streets of Long Beach for Round 1 of the 2014 Formula Drift championship. Only 32 of them would qualify for Saturdays competition.

After a day full of crashes, mechanical issues and tire smoke, 2013 champion, Michael Essa qualified 1st place with a score of 96.

Vaughn Gittin Jr's 94 point score made him 2nd highest qualifier.

Tyler McQuarrie came a close 3rd scoring 93 points.
