Gallery - Bimmerfest 2013
Once a year, owners of the “Ultimate Driving Machine” come from all across the country to attend Bimmerfest, the premier grassroots driven enthusiast meet for the BMW community. Started in 2000 by Jon Shafer, Bimmerfest was initially located at Cutter Motors, a Santa Barbara dealership. With continued exponential growth year after year, the event found itself at its current home at the outskirts of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Here are a few of my favorites from Bimmerfest 2013. E90 Wagon with ///M3 facia, we didn’t get a chance to confirm if this had the motor as well – battleship grey paint at the Work Wheels booth. The original beast – E39 ///M5 in Carbon Black, lowered on anthracite center Work VS-XX wheels. The starter of the ///M movement – E30 ///M3 in Diamond Schwartz Black. Vorsteiner brought out their F10 ///M5 (also in battleship grey) with their latest aero and wheel offerings. IND, came all the way out from the East Coast to display some of their best projects: Custom green E92 ///M3 coupe on BBS F1’s, track ready with full roll cage. IND’s F10 ///M5 with custom carbon roof, roll cage sitting on BBS CH-R’s in dark grey. A closer look inside IND’s F10 ///M5 IND’s Dakar Yellow E90 ///M3 on BBS F1’s, custom roll cage and BMW Performance seats – check out those Motorsport CF Mirrors! With classic BMW’s such as the iconic E30 ///M3 as well as the latest 2013 F10 M5, Bimmerfest has something for everyone…as long as it’s a BMW.
